Just completed a lovely commissioned piece - using old postage stamps and postmarks from old family letters, initials of the family and children's birthdates, vintage papers & maps of areas lived in - all in colours to compliment this fabric from Osbourne & Little http://www.osborneandlittle.com/products-and-collections/fabric/spring-2006/yucatan/yucatan
Personalised pieces can be made in any size or colour scheme - incorporating special dates, areas, initials and any personal ephemera that you may have - old tickets, vintage papers, hand written letters etc -
just contact email@example.com if you would like to discuss an idea.

onderful vision of creating something out of nothing with, to me, a slightly ethereal, haunting quality. I love the simple black and white designs, where the map lines and textured line of skin blend so perfectly.
"Through my studies of the human form I examine the patterns and structures which exist
across the body. I disassemble those structures and reconstruct them onto pre-patterned surfaces, including maps. The creative process involves synchronising both subject and surface. I search for similarities between the characteristics of the human figure and the topographical features of the map, resulting in a unique amalgamation".
Available as limited edition prints or original works (I am coveting this piece!)
